A family-run hotel that takes great pride in catering for its guests, The Ashburton offers a cheerful friendly atmosphere, good home cooking and a high standard of cleanliness. The hotel has recently been upgraded to 4 stars by VisitBritain (the tourist board of the United Kingdom) and aims to offer the best combination of quality, service and value in Scarborough.

All of the charming and comfortable accommodation is en suite and well-equipped, with TVs with DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers and radio alarm clocks. The hotel also now boasts a recently decorated 4-poster suite.

Throughout the public areas, the hotel aims to capture the charm and elegance of the late Victorian period, during which the hotel was built.

- When you arrive in Scarborough, follow the signs towards South Bay and the Spa Conference Centre.
- When you reach Valley Road, the Ashburton Hotel is about 100 metres down the road, on the left-hand side.

By Train:
From the train station, turn right at the traffic lights and walk over Valley Bridge. Then turn left at the end of the bridge and then left again at the bottom of the hill. Walk back underneath Valley Bridge, and you will see the Ashburton Hotel about 200 metres further down, on the right-hand side.
