Restaurants and Bars

Light snacks can be enjoyed in the Byron Bar, with its 250 year old bar oak panelling and historic inglenook fireplace. It is the perfect place to relax. The Courtyard Restaurant, with its Oak beams and high barn ceilings create a country style atmosphere, offering a choice of succulent roast joints, fish and vegetarian dishes as well as local specialities every day.

The Bridge is very easy to find, and is close to the a1/m motorway, the a1/m1 link, local and national stations and airports. By Car - From the South A1/M, turn off at Junction 46 signposted 'B1224 Wetherby', then follow the signs to Walshford and The Bridge. From the North A1/M, turn off at Junction 47, take the York A59 road, then turn first left and follow the signs to Walshford and The Bridge. From the M1 and M62, follow the signs to A1/M North and Wetherby. Then follow the 'From the South' directions. By Rail - The nearest local railway station is Cattal (2 miles), with direct links to York, Leeds and Harrogate.
