About the hotel

Following extensive refurbishment, this delightful rural retreat boasts spacious, modern accommodation and an elegant restaurant in a prime position, adjacent to the magnificent Rockingham Castle in Market Harborough.

Formely Hotel Elizabeth Rockingham.

The ideal base for both business and leisure guests, the Rockingham Forest is halfway between the historic cities of Northampton and Leicester. The surroundings also offer miles of beautiful landscapes and woodland.

After a long day of exploring the surroundings you can relax with a pre-dinner drink in the bar before enjoying traditional home-cooked food and fine wine in the Impression’s Restaurant.

Two years ago the Hotel Elizabeth Rockingham benefited from a GBP 1.5 refurbishment of public areas, including the main bar area and the restaurant. At the start of September 2008, a further GBP 1m refurbishment was invested to begin refurbishment on the bedrooms and remaining public areas. This will see the hotel equipped with 46 new executive rooms and 22 new standard rooms, to be completed in mid December.

The hotel is the ideal setting for a wedding, party or private dinner party for up to 400 delegates. The large private car park can hold up to 200 cars.

- Take the A43 towards Kettering, joining the A14 in the direction of Coventry.
- Leave the A14 at the next interchange and take the A43 signposted Corby. - Continue straight on at the next 2 roundabouts.
- At the third roundabout turn right (second exit) onto the A6116.
- The hotel is located on right.

From the M1 North:
- Exit at junction 19.
- Take the A14.
- Exit the A14 at junction 7.
- Take the first exit on the roundabout, signposted Corby A6003.
- Continue and take the first exit A6003 towards Corby.
- Continue straight on at the next two roundabouts.
- At the third roundabout turn right (second exit) onto the A6116.
