About the hotel

An impressive 19th century hotel nestling in the centre of Harrogate, adjacent to the Harrogate International Centre and a short stroll from the famous Betty's Tea Rooms and Montpellier Gardens.

Set in 12 acres of award-winning landscaped gardens, the Barcelo Harrogate Majestic Hotel offers a traditional setting for a relaxed stay. The hotel has 167 bedrooms, all of which are non-smoking, including 45 premium rooms which are available at a supplement. All rooms are comfortable and very spacious. Many have lovely views over the garden and town. All rooms and public areas have Wi-Fi internet access.

The hotel has an excellent Bodysense Health & Leisure Club, including an indoor swimming pool, saunas, spa pool, gym and newly opened 'Orchid Rooms' offering beauty treatments to both men and women. The restaurant offers a choice of excellent cuisine, with wines to match. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request at a nominal charge. Please contact the hotel for details.

Directions

Hotel Map

From the North: From A1 North, before reaching the a1(m), leave the A1 following the signposts for Ripon and the A61. Continue past Ripon and follow the signs for Harrogate. Just before the town centre, the hotel can be found on the left.
From the South: From A1(M) south: Leave the A1(M) at Wetherby onto the A661 following signs for Harrogate. Follow signs for the town centre. At the traffic lights at the bottom of Parliament Street continue straight ahead, past the Swallow Hotel and Harrogate Centre. The hotel is located on the right hand side.
Alternatively: leave the A1(M)at the A59 exit for York/Harrogate following signs for Harrogate Town Centre. Once in town the Barceló Harrogate Majestic Hotel is located directly behind the Harrogate International Centre.
