Originally a 16th century coaching inn, the Crown offers the best in traditional and friendly hospitality. We have a restaurant, lounge and bar area. The hotel has 37 bedrooms - 23 traditional style and 14 modern.
We have a mixture of traditional and modern rooms available including The Elizabeth I four-poster suite as featured in 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. We are easily accessible from the m40, m25, m1 and m4.

The Crown has introduced a new relaxed dining concept with an informal menu. We offer a varied lounge menu throughout the day from 12 noon through until 10 pm.
Directions
From m25 exit junction 18 onto a404. Follow signs for old Amersham, down Stanley Hill turning right at the roundabout. Go straight ahead, with Tesco superstore on your right. Turn right at the mini roundabout into Whielden Street where you will see The Nags Head public house on your right. Please turn right next door to the pub to enter the car park.
From the M40 exit at junction 2 - follow signs for Beaconsfield and then Amersham A355. Proceed down Gore Hill, Tesco superstore in front of you, turn left at first mini roundabout into Whielden Street. On the right hand you will see The Nags Head public house- turn right to enter the car park.
