Now almost totally refurbished, the hotel has a superb leisure centre with fully equipped gymnasium, swimming pool, steam room, whirlpool and beauty treatment rooms. There is a 2 fee to use the gymnasium. Benefiting from a prominent position on Blackpool's quieter North Shore, the hotel enjoys panoramic sea views yet is only a short tram ride away from the bustling centre of Blackpool with its many attractions including the Tower, piers and Pleasure Beach. The Norbreck Castle offers 480 mostly refurbished en-suite bedrooms, many with sea views or whirlpool baths. For entertainment there is a nightly show, a lively themed bar - Copper Face Jacks, and a 36 seater cinema. During the school holidays there is a children's entertainment programme and an amusement arcade open all year round. For the 2005 summer season a second newly refurbished restaurant will be open. The hotel also boasts a large free car park. The current refurbishment is due to be completed in July 2005.
