With excellent links to the A1 and M1 and built around a 13th Century barn and 17th Century manor house, the hotel still retains the character of the original beamed and timbered buildings. A stunning location on the riverbank of the Great Ouse and surrounded by 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens, it a perfect base for all types of stay. The town of Bedford is noted for its excellent shops, unrivalled recreational amenities and The Great Ouse River, which is the central and attractive feature of the town. It is a good base for visiting Woburn Abbey and Safari Park, Whipsnade and the Shuttleworth collection of historic aeroplanes at Old Warden. On the following dates the Hotel restaurant will be closed for dinner due to functions.
