Furnished mainly with antiques, incorporating all the modern requirements of today including free wireless internet access in the bedrooms. There are low beams, oak panelled doors and log fires when necessary. Local and home produce are used in traditional menus, but dinner served at 2000hours-a fixed menu priced at GBP 30 per person must be prebooked by at least 24hours to avoid disappointment. The house is licensed. The meals are served in the dining room overlooking the garden and fields. There are seven golf courses within a five mile radius. Nearby are several well known walks including the Sandstone Trail and the Shropshire Union Canal .
