The Bear, as it is known to the locals, is a lively traditional pub, offering good food and fine ales. You can be assured of a warm welcome from the friendly staff whether for a quick drink or a short break. The two bars offer a variety of traditional real ales and lagers. Our cellar offers a variety of fine wines to suit all tastes and a fair selection of wines by the glass. There are also some interesting collections of aged Malt whiskies. For your entertainment we have a live band in the bar every Sunday evening.
