This highly recommended, family-run guest house is set in its own grounds and is ideal for touring the area and enjoying the coastal walks that take in some of Devon's best scenery.
The White Horse was built in the mid 19th century by Lord Churston. Subsequent owners appear to have been offering accommodation to paying guests for over 100 years. Each room is en suite and beautifully decorated with crisp linen, fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and a DVD player.
The hotel has a lounge bar which serves food, a dining area, a large garden, and ample forecourt parking with space for trailers.

| From the M5 take junction 31 and continue straight ahead on the M38 for 3 miles (4.9 km). Take the A380 Telegraph Hill Road and proceed for 9 miles (14.5 km). Take the A380 Torquay Road from the Penn Inn roundabout and proceed for about 4 miles (6.5 km). At the Gallows Gate roundabout, take the A380 ring road signposted for Brixham/Dartmouth. Continue on this road following directions to Brixham. Proceed onto the A380 Kings Ash Road, continue onto the A3022 Brixham Road. Stay on this road as you pass Churston Golf Club on your left. We are positioned on the right hand side of the road adjacent to the steam railway and set back slightly from the main road. |
