| Breakfast consists of a wide choice of cereals, fruit juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, grapefruit segments, prunes, a full cooked breakfast or smoked salmon and scrambled egg. There is toast and preserves, as well as tea, coffee, and flavoured teas. (Homemade jams are seasonal). Evening meals are available and are served at 18:15 (pre-booking is required). Bar meals replace evening meals during July and August. |

| As well as the numerous attractions of Torquay that are close at hand, visitors may also be interested in those slightly further afield: Babbacombe Model Village (2.5 km / 1.5 miles) - experience a traditional English village in miniature. Stunning detail and craftsmanship have made this a popular attraction for adults and children alike. Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway (5 km / 3 miles) - this preserved line has steam trains running for 11 km (7 miles) in Great Western tradition along the spectacular Torbay coast to Churston. Stunning scenery is in evidence throughout. |

| By Car: From the M5: - Follow the A38 to Torquay. - Then take the A380. - Then take the A3022 into Torquay. - Stay in the right-hand lane when you reach the junction of Torre station and Halfords. - Follow Avenue Road and pick up signs to the seafront and Paignton. - At the junction of the Riviera Centre and Falkland Road, turn sharp left onto Falkland Road. - The Westgate Hotel is approximately 200 metres on the left-hand side. The hotel has a large, free on-site car park (no reservations needed). Torquay train station and coach station are within walking distance to The Westgate. The Westgate is on the local no. 32 bus route into the town centre, which gives you easy access to all attractions and routes. |
