This traditional coaching inn situated in the quiet and picturesque village of Fulbourn, just 4 miles (6.4 km) from Cambridge city centre. The White Hart is extremely well-presented and enjoys a prominent location in the village, with easy access to and from Cambridge and its surrounding areas. Fulbourn has an excellent bus service, and a ‘park and ride’ service is nearby. Over the centuries, the pub has lost none of its charm, and has a traditional and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in the sunny restaurant.

Area information

Fulbourn is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful university city of Cambridge, which is just a short drive away. The village itself has pleasant and friendly surroundings, several shops including Chinese takeaway, tea rooms, hair dressers and an antique shop.

There is plenty to see and visit around this area, including Cambridge with its wonderful ancient universities, beautiful scenic walks and river trips on the Cam around the backs of the colleges.

There is also Newmarket for the popular day and evening races; Duxford for the spectacular air shows; Ely for the 1000-year-old Norman cathedral; and the delightful, quaint town of Saffron Walden.

There are regular train journeys to Liverpool Street and Kings Cross from Cambridge Station, and an hourly National Express coach service from Cambridge to Victoria.

Travel information

By Car
From the South (M11):
- Exit at junction 9 and take the A11 to Newmarket/Norwich.
- After 7 miles, turn left off the dual carriageway, signposted Fulbourn.
- Turn left at the junction signposted Fulbourn.
- Follow the road for 3 miles, and The White Hart is on the left-hand side of the road as you enter the village.

By Air
Stansted Airport is a 25-minute drive away.

Important information

The White Hart is closed from 15:30 until 17:30, Monday to Saturday. The restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday evenings.
