| The Globe Inn offers both lunch and evening menus, featuring freshly cooked local produce, including daily specials. Fish is delivered from the coast daily to ensure maximum quality and flavour. In addition, on Sundays the inn offers a choice of traditional roasts served at your table. A range of fresh coffees and hot chocolate are available throughout the day and a full dessert menu is also on offer every day. Lunch is available from 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner is served from 18:00 to 21:00, 7 days a week. Both bars serve real ales, lagers and a wide choice of spirits and liqueurs. |

| Chagford is set in the Dartmoor National Park, a paradise for walkers. Fernworthy Reservoir is close by, with extensive woodlands and a beautiful picnic area overlooking the lake. Castle Drogo, a National Trust property is 10 minutes’ drive from the inn and can been seen from some of the rooms. Close to the Castle is Fingle Bridge, a magnificent gorge with the clear-running Teign River and well-signposted walks. The woods are covered in Bluebells in April/May. The A30 is just 15 minutes’ drive away and offers easy access to Exeter (30 minutes) or Westward to Cornwall (with Padstow just 1.5 hours away). |

| By Car (from the east): - Chagford is situated 20 miles (32 km) from the centre of Exeter. - Travelling west, exit the A30 at Whiddon Down, joining the A382. - Pass the services and take the first left at the mini roundabout. - Continue straight on for 3.75 miles (6 km) to the crossroads (signposted Chagford), then turn right onto the B3206 and continue for 1.5 miles (2.5 km) into the town square. - At the T-junction, turn left and the Globe Inn is 100 metres further on, on the right-hand side. Parking: Parking is available outside the Globe Inn (up to a 2-hour limit) or in the town car park, which is just past the inn. Take the left fork and the car park is just 2 minutes’ walk away. |
