| Elvey Farm is just outside Pluckley, home to ITV's Darling Buds of May. It's easy to see why the TV series chose this village as its location; wherever you look, there are charming cottages, Oast houses, orchards and fields. Pluckley is surrounded by pretty villages, with old-fashioned pubs and ancient village greens. However, you're not cut off here - you're just half an hour from Dover and the Channel Tunnel, just over an hour from London, and close to Canterbury, Tenterden and the Thanet coast. |
