It is the ideal centre for day trips to such places as Stonehenge, Exmoor, Bournmouth, The Cotswolds, Wookey Hole Caves, Stourhead etc, or just walking on The Mendip Hills, Limestone Link or the conservation areas like Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes.

Travel information

Just 1 mile off the a37 (Bristol - Shepton Mallet/Wells), 10 miles south of Bristol at Temple Cloud (sign posted). Motorway - London, Midlands, Wales turn of at junction 19 of m4 on to m32 Bristol - head for centre and follow signs for a37 Wells/Shepton Mallet - travel 10 miles.
