On entry you are greeted by the original stone wall which leads up to the main bedroom. The bedroom is flooded with good natural light provided by the two double windows. Both windows provide views over the Chagford croquet lawn and rolling Devonshire countryside.

The room is en suite, with many unique design features. The oak floor and luxury Egyptian cotton linen are standard, together with bathrobes and Molton Brown toiletries.

With a small, intimate setting, seating 26, the restaurant provides a very personal venue. 2 private dining rooms are available for groups of 6-12; The Moors offers private dining for 6 - 12 people and The Green for parties of 6.

Travel information

By Car:
- Take the M5 motorway.
- Exit at Exeter to join the A30 dual-carriageway.
- Exit South to the A382, signposted Moretonhampstead.
- After about 3 miles, turn right for Chagford
- Entering the village you will come to the main square, Mill Street is on the right.

From the south, join the A382, from the A38 near Newton Abbott.
